Preliminary promoters may be groups, bar, organizations, or interested individuals who posses the ability to produce, direct and financially back their proposed preliminary.
All promoters must parallel their rules and regulations with the rules and regulations of the National Level Pageant. Promoters must use the scoring system provided by
International Pageantry, Inc.
All preliminary promoters must renew their preliminary agreement annually by July 30th. There is a franchise fee of $0.00. Entry fees must be paid at the preliminary pageant. This amount is $150.00 regardless of whether a first runner up is sent to the National Pageant. An additional contestant is $75.00, with a maximum of 3 contestants. (Winner, First Runner Up, Second Runner Up) This applies to pageants with 10 or more contestants.
All scores are final once the National Titleholder/Representative and Promoter sign the appropriate paperwork
at all State and Regional Pageants. All scores are final once the Winner
is announced at the National Pageant.
The original score sheets MUST be mailed to International Pageantry, Inc. Headquarters no later than 30 days of crowning. In the event this is not done, International Pageantry, Inc. maintains the right to revoke entry into the National Pageant, Removal of Promoter Status, and/or Revoking the title.
Promoters may, at their own discretion, disqualify from entry any contestant:
Who posses an ability to cause substantial problems as per their personal performance history.
Any contestants who do not present themselves in a professional matter.
Who does not abide by the rules and regulations of and the state/regional contest.
International Pageantry, Inc. does not discriminate against entertainers who alter their bodies with hormones or silicone injections in pursuit of their art form.
International Pageantry, Inc. may at any time revoke or disqualify a state or regional contest due to:
Actions considered damaging or demeaning to the title of Miss International Plus
Non fee payment
Not abiding by rules and regulations set forth.
Promoters MUST purchase the designated preliminary crown from International Pageantry, Inc. Headquarters.
Current reigning must participate in all International Pageantry, Inc. state and regional events unassisted by, but not limited to, dressers, helpers, assistants, friends, family members, and or significant others. Current reigning may have an approved dresser / assistant at the national pageant only.
No family members, friends, and or significant others of the current reigning will be allowed to judge any International Pageantry, Inc. state, regional, or national pageant without the approval of the corporate office.
International Pageantry, Inc. reserves the right to limit the number of prelims in any single state. Currently that number allowed in any given state is three (3.) Exception to this rule is the state the national pageant is being held. Double crowning pageants count as two (2) pageants.
Judge panels at all International Pageantry, Inc. event are limited to no more than five (5) and no less than three (3) judges.
All judges must be approved by International Pageantry Inc. Prelim promoters must submit judges’ bios to the corporate office no later than 30 days prior to the event. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!
All first year prelims must have an official from International Pageantry, Inc. in attendance for their event at the corporate office’s expense. The official will have total access to all areas and scores pertaining to the prelim. Furthermore, the official will be selected by International Pageantry, Inc., although suggestions are welcomed.
Double Crowning pageants must have a minimum of eight (8) contestants.
For Single Crowning pageants, a minimum requirement of six (6) contestants must be met to send the second (2nd) alternate to the national pageant. Exceptions to the minimum requirement can only be approved by the International Pageantry, Inc. Corporate Office (not the current reigning or any single official in attendance.)
For Double Crowning pageants, a minimum requirement of twelve (12) contestants must be met to send the second (2nd) alternates to the national pageant. Exceptions to the minimum requirement can only be approved by the International Pageantry, Inc. Corporate Office (not the current reigning or any single official in attendance.)
The Miss International Plus height and weight requirements are as follows: Under six (6) feet must be a minimum of 200 lbs. Six (6) feet and taller must be a minimum of 225 lbs. Any contestant failing to make the weight requirement at registration will not be allowed to compete. T-shirt, light weight shorts / wind suit and no shoes are required for weigh in.
Any contestant competing in three (3) prelims or more and has not qualified for the national pageant may opt to participate at the national pageant as a representative.
Appointments are prohibited except when a pageant can not be held for reasons beyond the promoter’s control (IE natural disaster, venue closing, etc.)
State promoters may set up their own geographical requirements. The said promoter may choose to close their contest to individuals outside their state or open it to individuals outside their state. If the said promoter opens the pageant to contestants outside their state, absolutely NO prelims to the State pageant is allowed. All regional are open to anyone in the United States, and absolutely NO prelims to the regional pageant is allowed.
International Pageantry, Inc. suggests this prize set up:
Winner:
1/3 the night they are crowned
1/3 at nationals (hotel is a plus but not required)
1/3 when they give it up
First runner up:
Entry fee reimbursement
Remainder of prize at nationals (hotel is a plus but not required)
Second runner up (if more than 10 contestants):
Cash at nationals (hotel is a plus but not required
Sending a second runner up is optional
International Pageantry, Inc. suggest benefit shows and bookings to help pay for extra expenses such as hotel and spending money.
Any performance that exceeds 10 minutes, including the set up time, will be cut off, and a zero (0) will be given by ALL judges.
Any contestant who will lose administrative points will have points deducted as follows:

Any contestant who has more than three offenses will have administrative points deducted at a rate of two times the previous deduction.
The deduction of Administrative points can ONLY be done by by the current reigning at State and Regional Preliminaries, and as such is at the sole discretion of the Current Reigning.. The deductions of Administrative points at Nationals can ONLY be done by one of the Owners of International Pageantry, Inc., and as such is at the sole discretion of the Owners. ALL decisions about Administrative Points are FINAL once the scores have been finalized.
All contestants must:
Be at least 21 years old by the day of registration for the National Pageant.
Currently not bared from any International Pageantry, Inc.
Must not have had SRS (Hormones, hip and breast augmentation is allowed)
Miss International Plus is required to be at all state and regional preliminaries. The fee for the titleholder is $200.00 cash, one-night hotel accommodations and transportation expenses. It is mandatory to have the reigning national titleholder at the final night of all preliminary contests.
The
promoter is responsible for round trip airfare from the current reigning
home base. (This is something that is established by the corporate
office when Miss International Plus is crowned.) In the event the current
reigning is at an official Miss International Plus Event, then the promoter is
responsible for the air fare from that said event to their
establishment/event, and then return flight to the current reigning home
base. If the current reigning wishes to be flown from another said
location, the corporate office will generate a reasonable airfare voucher
from the current reigning home base to establish a fee that must be paid by
the promoter and the current reigning must pay the difference from new
travel location, and/or the promoter can deduct the difference from the
current reigning performance fees.
